Client Profile
Gregario's Meet and Veg is a family owned-and-operated medium-sized grocer. They've operated since 1963 and have one location deep in the heart of the inner-city.
They have a strong social-media following and regular customers from the area who would never even consider shopping anywhere else.
A national competitor moved into the neighbourhood recently and they are looking to capitalize on their strong customer base to ensure their strong presence in the area.
Product Evaluation
The client's data is mostly analog at this time. They've never worked with a digital point of sale system before, but are upgrading to one soon as their legacy system has recently died. We'll want to get them started with Data Core, and start ingesting some of the copious legacy data to show them how valuable their data can be with Analytics.
They've had a strong customer following for decades, and want to both reward and continue to encourage brand-loyalty with those customers. Loyalty is going to be a huge focus for them.
The client supports paper-based gift certificates today, but often have to deal with customer issues related to loss or damage. They want to simplify this process by embedding gift card balances into their customers' profiles. We'll use Payments for this and for adding other convenience payment features like Apple Pay.
Gregario's runs a weekly flyer in the mail, which costs them a lot of money and has had a history of having issues related to delivery. Tying Marketing into loyalty with our campaign tools will greatly help them in understanding which products are the winners for them.
