Summary

In order to fully adopt the proposed changes in this document, the company must evolve.

Our products must become more streamlined and less monolithic, our support and onboarding teams require better training, and our development initiatives must become more standardized to support that training.

Those suggestions are as follows:

  • the product must divest from the default focus of "loyalty" in favour of a more general approach around data.

  • the sales and marketing teams must adjust their strategy to better highlight the new product focus.

  • the support and onboarding teams should be merged, sharing responsibilities and receiving greater product training.

  • the development focus should adopt a microservices approach, and being more proactive in addressing possible concerns regarding scaling, stability, maintainability, and extensibility.

  • dedicating additional resources to extensibility, adopting a more formal process for working with partners, and embracing that relationship to solve custom requests.
